Irs Failures And Forms
We surely live in the greatest nation in the history of humankind and we should all pay our taxes for this privilege. In no other country is there so much abundance and such a huge middle class. Now then on the subject of taxation in our great Republic, I would like to point out some failures with the Income Tax Collection system, namely the forms.
There is really very little room to sign your name on these forms. I discussed this with my tax-preparer and he told me write real small, well no kidding Sherlock Homes! Obviously, how else are you suppose to fit your signature in such a tiny space. What gets me is the incompetence that we accept with this.
You see, there are 300 million Americans now and each one of us is inconvenienced by this - why? We are paying money and the form is to make those tax payments easier, but it isn’t. You would think that they IRS could do a better job with these forms, actually the whole income tax system needs revision, but that is for another article.
No, I am not calling for larger paper - legal size or more pages of forms, we should not have to cut down more trees to pay our taxes, that is absurd. Rather what I am saying is that we need simpler tax codes, simpler forms and more friggin space to sign your gash darn name in my sole opinion - Dah. Yes, electronic filing has been a godsend, thank you for that, but come on, we can do better than this.
The United States Government collects more tax revenues than any other nation on the Planet, which is a good thing, considering what it takes to run this great society of ours, but we can do better, I know we can. If we can put a man on the moon, surely we can build a better IRS form. Think on this. Sincerely, Lance.
